This months speaker is the inspiring young woman that is Anisah Osman Britton. She is the founder of 23 Code Street - a new coding school for women, that for every paying student, teaches a woman in India how to code too. At just 23 years of age, Anisah is not only contributing to shifting the playing field in tech, but her experiences between London and India provide her with a truly unique point of view on the world too.
For our first event we have a very special speaker. As recently featured on BBC One's The Big Life Fix, Emma Lawton is the Head of Creative at fintech startup SPIXII, and just 3 years ago at the age of 29, was diagnosed with Parkinson's. Emma will be talking to us about how her life has changed since the diagnosis, both how she has been forced to adapt to the condition, but also the new perspective on life and work that it has afforded her.
